Take a deep breath and roll up your sleeves — you’re going to camp! MinCamp, that is — the free companion workshop to our book, Minimalist Parenting.
WHAT IT IS
In Minimalist Parenting, we share our prescription for enjoying family life more by doing less. But where to begin? That’s where MinCamp comes in.
Through a series of 14 daily tasks, you’ll make real progress in the areas many of us find challenging: managing your time, handling clutter (in your home, schedule, and mind), simplifying mealtime, and making room for self-care. Starting the day after you sign up, we’ll email you one MinCamp task per day. We’ve crafted each task to make an immediate impact on your life while being doable. At the end of MinCamp, you’ll be on your way to less clutter and more joy!
WHAT TO DO NOW
1. Sign up now. MinCamp is free, fun, and will make a difference in your life. We’ll send you a Welcome email as soon as you sign up. Daily tasks begin the following day!
2. Talk to us. We’re here for you as are your fellow MinCampers! Now, and after camp begins, share your thoughts and/or ask questions via Twitter (use the hashtag #mincamp) and Facebook.
3. Get ready to earn your merit badges! When you complete a daily task, you earn a merit badge (like this cute one here)! Each daily email will contain a link to your badge; download it to share on Facebook, Twitter, or your blog. Or if you prefer to go old-school, print this blank badge sheet to collect and display your daily badges — it’s like a star chart for grownups!
4. Invite your friends to join you! Camp is more fun and motivating with friends.
